Sandalwood

The Sandalwood we choose is harvested from the small Santalum Album tree that grows in Indonesia. Sandalwoodis one of the oldest incense ingredients and the aroma of Sandalwood oil has been described as warm, woody, spicy, rich, sweet, delicate and floral; it has also been traditionally considered an aphrodisiac. The fragrant base note is initially subtle but develops once applied to warm skin.

Sandalwood essential oil is also highly regarded for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, which make it ideal for dry and sensitive skin.
